About the presenter
Andrew Abate is a teacher and department chair of Computer Science at Riverdale Country School in New York City. In his 30th year of teaching, Andrew has focused on diversity and equal access to STEM, robotics, and computer science education. Most recently, Andrew has co-founded an educational organization that delivers computer science education to communities in Zimbabwe. Andrew has degrees in Mathematics and Education.
