Kindergarten and First Grade Teacher of the Gifted
Responsibilities include:
Teaching all core subject areas in a self-contained classroom,
Designing engaging lessons within curriculum guidelines,
Communicating student progress with parents,
Attending after school and evening all school events.
Requirements include:
Enthusiasm a must!
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
Coursework or experience with gifted, young children preferred.
Ability to differentiate for multiple levels across disciplines required. Small class size.
Certification preferred but not required. Multiple years experience teaching in a private school may be substituted for certification.
